Why Kitchen Radio is on Saturdays

Kitchen Radio started because Tomás burnt a grilled cheese during a station ID. The smoke alarm went off live, and the phones lit up.

Saturday was the only morning the studio was empty long enough to cook in. The show has kept the slot ever since.

The smoke alarm now has a name, and a battery that somebody else replaces.
